The 'Applied Computer Science' journal is dedicated to the fundamental problems of practical implementation of IT technology in fields such as:
  • Industrial engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Biomedical engineering
  • Economics and managment.

The mission of this journal is to promote the exchange of knowledge between scientists, engineers and practitioners who are involved in the development and application of modern IT solutions. Our general aim is to encourage scientists to share the findings of their experimental and theoretical research related to the challenges of IT application to develop innovations, conduct research and solve practical problems. The specific objectives of the journal focus on:
  1. Publishing high-quality research and review articles that make a significant contribution to the development of applied computing.
  2. Fostering collaboration between academic researchers and industry professionals to encourage the practical application of cutting-edge technologies.
  3. Providing a platform for discussion and exchange of experiences between scientists from various fields who use computer technologies in their research.

Observing current trends in science, industry and economics, it is difficult to imagine any activities without the use of information technology. Moreover, the development of these technologies is so fast that solutions that were new a few years ago are now considered archaic. That is why the presentation of current solutions in the use of information technology for solving specific solutions is so important.  It provides the opportunity to adapt the latest solutions in industrial practice, as well as lays the foundation for further efforts to create further, more advanced solutions. In consequence, research on issues related to applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer modeling and simulation in engineering, architecture of information systems and their application in business, research on the usability of IT systems are welcome. In this respect, much attention is given to the application of modern IT technologies to solve engineering and economic problems.

In particular, the main topics covered in the 'Applied Computer Science' journal are as follows:
  • Artificial engineering
  • Machine learning
  • Data processing
  • Software engineering
